RReverseRecruiter
Applying on your behalf

A human job-search service that applies to jobs for you

Yes. A reverse recruiter can apply to jobs for you. You hire a person, share your resume and target criteria, and they find relevant roles and complete the repetitive application work using truthful information you have approved. Questions only you can answer are flagged for you. Interviews, assessments and hiring decisions stay entirely with you and the employer.

What we handle

Most of a tech job application is data entry you have already done a hundred times. That's the part worth handing off.

  • Searching job boards and company career pages against your criteria
  • Reading listings and filtering out roles that clearly don't fit
  • Creating applicant accounts on employer portals
  • Re-entering employment history, education, and skills
  • Answering routine screening questions from the information you provided
  • Attaching the appropriate version of your resume
  • Tracking what was applied to, when, and what happened next

What still requires you

Some parts of a job search cannot be delegated, and shouldn't be. We surface them rather than fill them in.

  • Conversations with recruiters and hiring managers
  • Interviews of any kind
  • Coding tests, technical assessments and personality tests
  • Questions about your motivations, preferences or availability
  • Anything requiring a legal attestation or signature
  • Deciding which offer to accept

If an application asks something we can't answer truthfully from what you've given us, it goes on your list. You answer once; we reuse it going forward.

How jobs get selected

Selection is the part that determines whether the applications are worth submitting at all. Your reverse recruiter builds criteria with you first: target titles, seniority, tech stack, industry, compensation range, location and work arrangement, plus explicit dealbreakers. Roles are then reviewed against those criteria before anything is submitted.

Criteria aren't fixed. If the roles coming back aren't right, or your priorities shift mid-search, the criteria change and the search follows. See how it works for the full sequence.

Truthful application practices

Our boundaries are simple and we'd rather state them plainly than let you assume them:

  • We never invent experience, education, certifications, clearances or accomplishments.
  • We never impersonate you in employer conversations or interviews.
  • We never secretly complete assessments that are meant to measure you.
  • We never claim an employer relationship we don't have, or imply access to hidden listings.
  • We never promise interviews, offers, salaries, employment or a timeline.

How your information is used

Your resume and personal details are used to run the search and complete the applications you've approved — nothing else. We don't sell your information. Because applying inherently means submitting your details to employers and their applicant systems, you decide the criteria that determine where it goes. Our privacy policy covers the specifics.

Human service vs. automated apply tools

Auto-apply tools optimize for submission count. A human service optimizes for whether the submission was worth making — and can read a listing, notice a dealbreaker, and stop. Both approaches have legitimate uses, and the trade-offs are laid out in our human vs. AI auto-apply comparison.

Fit

Who this is for

  • You're a working technology professional with limited evening hours
  • You know roughly what role you want next
  • Your search stalls because of the admin, not the interviews
  • You want a person accountable for the work
  • You're comfortable paying a monthly fee for execution

Who this may not be for

  • You want a guaranteed job, interview or timeline
  • You want hundreds of untargeted applications sent
  • You want someone to sit your interviews or assessments
  • You have no idea what direction you want and want career advice first
  • A monthly professional-service fee isn't realistic right now

Not sure the cost pencils out? Work through is a reverse recruiter worth it? before you commit to anything.

Frequently asked questions

Can someone legally apply to jobs on my behalf?
Yes. You can authorize someone to complete applications for you using truthful information you have provided and approved. What isn't acceptable is misrepresentation — inventing experience, or pretending to be you in an interview or assessment. We don't do either.
Do you use my real information?
Always. We work from the resume, employment history, education, skills and preferences you give us. If an application asks something we don't have a truthful answer for, we flag it for you instead of guessing.
How many applications will you submit?
We don't quote a number, because a relevant week and a quiet week look different. The goal is consistent, targeted applications to roles that match your approved criteria — not volume for its own sake.
Will employers know someone else applied for me?
Applications are submitted in your name with your information, which is what employers evaluate. We never claim to be you in conversations, interviews or assessments, and we never imply we have a relationship with an employer that we don't have.
Can I approve jobs before you apply?
Yes. Your search criteria and your approval govern what gets applied to. If you'd rather review a list before anything is submitted, tell your reverse recruiter and that becomes the process.
What does it cost?
There are two payment structures for the same core service — a lower monthly fee with a success fee due only after you accept a job, or a flat monthly fee with no success fee. Current prices are on the pricing page.
